The History of General Electric

General Electric has its roots to the inventor Thomas Edison. In recent years the company General Electric is permanent head table of the British newspaper «Financial Times» one of the 500 best companies in the world, based on the market value-while continuously distinguished as the most admired company in the United States, according to the authoritative American financial magazine «Fortune». It is the only company listed in the Dow Jones industrial index since its establishment until today.

Despite the global dominance of the General Electric followed specific strategy for the European market following the policy of acquisitions, did not take long to create a powerful name in Europe.
